Abstract
Discussion of experimental data from positions of the polymeric theory of the melted silicates offered by O. A. Yesin is executed. One of its basic provisions is that oxide silicate melts consist of the linear and branched anion chains of various length which are in dynamic balance. It assumes balance between "free" ions" (O2-), one (O-) and two- coherent (O0) anions. According to the polymeric theory was the sizes of structural units and size of a surface tension and viscosity of liquid systems SnO-SiO2, SnO-SiO2-CaO, by SnO-SiO2-FeO are calculated. Results of calculations showed a satisfactory consent of settlement and skilled sizes. Thus, the polymeric model of silicate melts offered by O. A. Yesin is very perspective for the description of physical and chemical properties of stanniferous oxide melts.
