Dear Colleagues,

On the behalf of the Graduate Student Government of the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at the University of Silesia in Katowice (Poland), we would like to invite all early-stage scientists - students, Ph.D. candidates as well as young researchers - to attend in the 8th edition of the interdisciplinary conference SCIENCE BEYOND DISCIPLINES. Initially, the conference was structured around three main scientific pillars – chemistry, physics and biology - however, the upcoming edition will target also the field of engineering and technology, as well as medical sciences. Our main intention is to provide an opportunity for an interdisciplinary dialogue that will contribute to increasing scientific knowledge through the exchange of ideas with not necessarily like-minded researchers, promote the innovation and risk-taking in science, as well as encourage collaboration among the participants at international level.

The conference will be held in Chorzow (Poland) on September 19th-20th, 2019. The registration for the active participants is open until the July 28th, while for the passive attendees until September 7th. We are also proud to announce that all of our invited speakers have been already confirmed - Prof. Wiesław I. Gruszecki (Maria Curie-Sklodowska University, Lublin, Poland), Dr. Sergey Yatsunenko (NOVISMO: http://novismo.com/?lang=en) and Prof. Chris Hardacre (University of Manchester, UK).
