Carlotto Alice short CV

Dr. Alice Carlotto received her master’s degree in Chemistry (2017) and her PhD in Molecular Sciences (2021) at the University of Padova, studying the optical and luminescence properties of lanthanide-based compounds and their application as luminescent sensors.

In September 2021, she won a postdoctoral position at the CNR Institute of Photonics and Nanotechnologies in Trento, where she currently works on the development and fabrication of inorganic optical materials via RF-sputtering and sol-gel deposition. In particular, she follows the design, deposition and optical characterization of dielectric films and glass-based multilayer structures, used to develop 1D photonic bandgap materials, dichroic filters and micro cavities.
