3rd International Summer School on Smart Materials, Structures & Systems
The School is held in Trento, Italy, in the period July 21-25, 2014. The scope of the School is to provide a basic overview of smart technologies from a cross-disciplinary perspective with special focus on biomimicry, nano- and micro-technolologies, fiber optics, control devices, NDT evaluation, decision making.

Who should attend:
The School addresses graduate students and post-doc researchers pursuing research in the field of smart materials and structures. The registration deadline is 10 July 2014.
The School offers 10 scholarships to support participation of international students by covering their registration fee. Applicants should submit to the School Chairs by email (email@example.com): a 500-word statement of research interest; a personal CV including publication list; a letter of recommendation from their supervisor. Application deadline is 8 June 2014.
